An art show and sale of works by former fine arts faculty at WSU will demonstrate the lasting and ongoing legacy of the University’s dedication to the visual arts. It will also raise funds for the new Museum of Art/WSU.

“Legacy: Former Fine Arts Faculty Exhibition, Fundraiser & Art Sale” will run May 19-July 3. A closing celebration will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday, July 9, in the museum gallery. Admission is free.

As many as 25 past teaching-artists will be featured, spanning multiple generations of faculty and art. Many of the artists have generously provided works for sale; proceeds will support building a new art museum at the heart of campus.
